Due to the requirements of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), all applicants for tenancy in buildings constructed under Section 56.1 of the National Housing Act must present to the Landlord proof of income.
This may take the form of a letter from your employer, or a copy of your previous year's T4 income tax return, or any other such evidence which will prove your statement of earnings.
This information is required by CMHC and will be held in strict confidence.
